

Riders' Elite Academy employs the top Mounted Police
Trainers from around the country as instructors. Our instructors are fully
insured and are knowledgeable in a variety of riding disciplines. We will
do our best to accommodate requests for specific disciplines or instructors.
Mary
Hamilton is a Mounted Police Instructor who has worked in Law Enforcement
for over 20 years. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, with
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education and an Associate of
Arts Degree in Law Enforcement from North Hennepin College.
As a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician
responding to accidents and injuries for twenty years, Mary’s priority is
safety.
She is the Safety Expert for Horse’n Around and
Southeast Equine Magazines, where she authors a monthly column on horse
safety.
Corporal Hamilton's certifications:
- Instructor for the Minnesota Board of
Peace Officers Standards and Training
- Field Training Officer for the Three Rivers Park Police
- Riding Instructor through the American Riding Instructors Association
- Level III
She has studied Equitation under the following notable

Corporal Hamilton has learned Mounted Police Techniques

- Royal Canadian Mounted Police Seminar in Ottawa, Canada
- The Post Mardi Gras Competition in New Orleans, Louisiana
As a fully insured American Riding Instructor,
Hamilton devotes her creative energy to developing and customizing training
programs to improve show ring performance, mount obedience, and de-spooking
trail horses, utilizing training methods for police mounts, and trail
safety.
